What is now Harvest Family Fellowship began on February 7, 2015, we are Foursquare affiliate. In 2010, what use to be Bread of Life Foursquare church, closed its doors so the building was vacant a few years. On June 11, 2011, Pastors Rey and Alice Rodriguez were called by God to pastor the church that use to be under a different name affiliation. Then the pastor was called to Wichita, KS to take over a church. Since Pastor Rey and Alice were already ordained Foursquare Ministers, they changed the name to Harvest Family Fellowship Church. The church was meeting at a Recreation Facility from 2010 to 2014 and in November of the same year they were asked by a leader of a church in Topeka if they would come and pastor them along with their congregation, so they merged with that church that was looking for someone to Pastor them. In February 2015 a situation was revealed regarding the building they were in, that it was not healthy for their parishioner that the leadership decided it was in their best interest of the body to move somewhere else. On February 5, 2015, Pastor Rey started making phone calls to his denomination leaders and asking if the building at 522 SW Polk that was owned by the Foursquare International was available and they told him that it had been empty for several years. Although the building was in disrepair and needed a lot of work, the Rodriguez’ s worked with the congregation to rehab the facility. Although almost completed, the remodeling work continues to this day. The new carpet was installed on January 5, 2021.
Today the multi-ethnic congregation numbers around 30-35.
